Boy do I have a good story to tell you...are you ready?? So this morning started out pretty normal. Me and my Mommy got ready for the day, we ate a yummy breakfast of eggs and sausage. Then we hit the road and drove to the Zoo....YAY!!
We were going to see the lions!! I am learning to ROARRRR Like them. But mine sounds more like roar (whispered), not as big as the lions yet, give me time though and I will be as good as them. Anywho we got to the zoo and we saw that the parking lot was empty so we thought we got there in time before the BIG crowd.
OOPS we were there an hour early...grrrr!! But my Mommy and Emma's Mommy decided to take us girls on an adventure to downtown Portland. It was so exciting because I got to ride the Max train and that was my first time doing that....hehehe I loved it!!
After we got off the Max we found a pink (my favorite color btw) donut shop, and we shared a yummy donut!! Mmmm gotta love those:)
After eating our treat we headed back to the zoo and when we got back the parking lot went from no one being there to hundreds of people in line. Sheesh...we were only gone a little while who knew they would all come so fast after we left. Because I am only 1 my attention span isn't that long, but we didn't have to wait that long to get in so that was good!!
We then walked to straight to see the lions and that was the bestest part of the day!! One of lions came right up to the window and I think she thought I was going to be her lunch....eeeek!! But she couldn't get to me so that was good.
We also got to see really pretty cheetah's and they looked so soft but my mommy said I couldn't pet them....no fun I tell ya...hehehe....i'm just kidding it was lots of fun!! The whole morning was really neat I got to see animals that I have never seen before and I got to eat a yummy treat and ride the Max. Can't get much better than that for me!! Thanks mommy for taking me and my friend Emma to the zoo!! I love you!!
