This is the time of year that a lot of yummy treats are made...from roasted turkey to peppermint hot chocolate, and yes...caramel corn!!
And the same girl who had the blogging cooking party thought of another good idea (she is one smart chica). Homemade Caramel Popcorn...yummy huh?? I was going to try and do it this weekend along with everyone else but I ended up being really busy so I had to put it off till today...so sad...*sigh*, well anywho all that matters is that I got to it:) And my wonderful husband ended up looking up a bunch of different recipes...so sweet I tell ya!! In the end I actually decided to go with a different recipe than the other girls cooked with...suprise!! Mine seemed to be a little less time consuming, and less ingredients too. And I wanted to make it during Rylee's naptime so I needed it to be quick. It all came together really fast, and tasted great in the end. I would say that the only thing that turned out wrong is that I had more of the caramel sauce than popcorn. But it tasted great and Rylee and me enjoyed it as a treat once she woke up from her nap, and that is all that matters really. So thanks again Alexis for your wonderful ideas and your fabulous creativity!!

Yum! I am still waiting to make this. I think maybe I would feel more inspired if it wasn't 92 degrees outside!!!
Great Job! I had to run to the store just so I could make it for company. What items did it not call for? And how long did it take?
