Mothers Day!!

So I just had to write and talk about how I had the best mothers day ever!! When I woke up my hubby gave me two cards. One from him and one from Rylee. The one he gave me told me that I have a mani-pedi appointment for Tuesday! I LOVE LOVE LOVE pedicures!! So I am really really excited for that!! And then the card from Rylee told me how he made me a cute video that was from daddy and Rylee. Then we got up and Aj made me one of my favorite breakfasts...eggs over easy on toast. Yum!! After that both of our parents meet us here at our place and we headed off to the beach. We went to Long Beach, WA!! Such a pretty drive and so much fun!! Rylee did great on the drive there and back. She even told us when ever she had to go potty and we stopped and let her go in the grass. I was sooooo sooooo proud of her that she did that! She is growing up so fast...*sigh*

When we got to the beach we walked around at the shops for a few minutes and then we got some yummy lunch. I got a crab melt, and it had HUGE pieces of crab in it. And oh how I love crab! And Aj got there prime rib dip. He seemed to really like it too. And well Rylee she was a lap hopper from mommy, to grandma, and to daddy. And she just ate off of all of our plates. Silly girl...hehehe! After lunch we then though it was time to go to the beach...yay!! It was so beautiful and sunny which for the Northwest that is a rare moment. Well i guess there was a little wind but hardly enough to complain about, so all in all I loved every second. Rylee was pretty funny because she did not want to walk on the sand!! I am not sure if it was to hot for her because the sand was warm, or if she didn't like the feel of it on her feet. But what ever it was she would not walk or sit on it. She would only sit on our lap and she didn't really use her bucket and shovel much. I guess we just need to go to the beach more often=) After we were done hanging out on the beach we decided it was time to go home. Me and Rylee both took a cat nap in the car and that was wonderful. And after we got home my parents called us to see if we wanted to go out to dinner. Normally after a long and busy day I would say no. I am a little anal and do not like to have Rylee out all day long. I like to give her time to relax and play at home. But as soon as the said Gustav's I had no choice but to say YES!! That is my all time favorite restaurant!! I LOVE there cheese fondue. Two kinda funny stories about that place is that a lot of my friends know how much I love that place. And so we ended up getting 4 fondue pots for our wedding. LOL...that is a lot of fondue! And then when I was prego with Rylee that was one of the only foods that I was able to eat for like 4 weeks that I could keep down. So I ate a lot of fondue when I was prego....nice huh? When someone calls and says they are going to treat for Gustav's cheese fondue it is super hard to say no to that. Well that was my amazing, wonderful, fantastic mothers day!!
