
I am working on creating new healthy habits. I want to be a good example to my daughter. I don't want to just be healthy to be skinny but I want to do it to honor my body the way God tells us to.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefor honor God with your bodies.
So a few ways I am doing this is by watching what I eat. I track all my food on My Fitness Pal. It is a great website that is free and has a HUGE data base for food. so it makes it super easy to track my calories and watch what I eat. i think in general I eat healthy. I just need to work on my portion control. And My fitness Pal helps me keep myself in check.
The other thing I am doing to be a healthy me is working out. Since we are on a budget and I stay home with our daughter I wanted to find a good way to work out from home. And we got the Wii a few years ago so I have been using that. I do Wii Fit. And I also have a Biggest Loser work out game that I LOVE!! I feel good when ever I am done. And I really like that Rylee is there working out with me. I want her to see me be active and healthy. I want to grow old and be able to see my grandchildren someday. And I know that will happen if I stay healthy!
