I am SOOOOOO excited for SUMMER!! Since I can hardly contain my excitement I thought I would share all my fun summer ideas with YOU!!
1) I am planning on taking Rylee to lots of the $1 movie days at the theater. They offer it on Tuesday and Wednesdays. I am all about Tuesdays since I have a Regal card they offer $2 popcorn on those days. So we can go to the movies and have a yummy treat all for $4. Pretty good deal!!
2) Last year Rylee went to a free soccer camp. It was crazy insane filled with hundreds of kids I think. But we are going to be brave and go do it again. She was a little small last year for it. This year I think she will really get into it!
3) VBS!! I LOVED doing that when I was a kid during the summer. I remember there being a church close to our house. And all 3 of us kids would walk there together have fun and then walk home. It was always such a blast. Last year Rylee did it with her BFF Emma. And normally I would think that Rylee is too little for something like VBS. But her doing it with Emma makes me feel so much more secure. Those two little girls are like 2 peas in a pod. They will stick together like glue for sure!! So I talked with Emma's mommy and she said YES to the girls doing it together again. Yay!!
4) Rylee's bday is this summer as well. June 30th. So we will of course be doing a fun bday party. I never knew an almost 4 year old could have so many little friends. But Rylee is one blessed little girl because she has TONS of great little friends. I have 4 ideas for her bday party.
* A pool party at EPCC. I have to look into the price. But she would LOVE it!!
* Face paint party. We just got her face painted at Gresham Farmers Market. SOOO much fun! And the lady does birthday parties. It would be a blast but it is a little on the $$ side. So I am going to see if I can check out some other people who do it and there prices?
* Splash pad park by our house would be a fun idea too. And that one is FREE. I like that price alot=)
* Get Rylee a super fun kiddy pool and have a BBQ in our backyard. This will be our last year to be able to use our backyard for a bday party (sniff sniff). And I feel like it has lots of sentimental value. So that might be a good idea too?
5) CAMPING!! In the 10 1/2 years we have been married we have never had Saturdays off together! This will be a first for us. And we really love to camp. Never really do it much due to time and money. But this summer I think we are going to try and prioritize it. And we also really want to go camping with other families too!! Rylee would love to have other kids to play with.
6) Gresham Farmers Market will be a must for us this summer as well. Hence not ever having Saturdays off together this is pretty neat too! I love all the people watching, ice cream eating, food sampling, flower smelling, live music dancing fun! And I love that we can do it as a family!! So that will be a blast too.
7) in July Aj's parents will be visiting from Cali and we are super duper excited to hang with them!! So that will be a week of fun for us as well.
8) In September (kinda summer still) we plan on flying down to Cali to visit Aj's family. We have FREE (great price again) tickets through our flying miles that expire in November. So we plan on using them soon and visiting sunny California. And Disney I am sure will be on the agenda.
9) Day trips to the beach. We LOVE the beach!! Seaside seems to be the one we always go to and I am A-OK with that. We have always enjoyed that beach.
10) The ZOO. I am sure we will be going to the zoo at least once a week! We have a zoo pass so I am going to take advantage of it and use it to the max.
So those are my summer ideas. I am super excited!!
What summer plans do you have?
I hope that what ever you do that you see God's beauty and blessings along the way!

There's no camping or hiking around here but I would love to find a spot to camp. I also want to take a day trip or two to Dallas. There's good shopping there! I will be enjoying the roof top deck at my new home. There will be plenty of fireworks to enjoy as well. I also want to visit some of the parks in Oklahoma City. Love your summer ideas!
