Summer Camping Adventures part 1

This was the first summer since Aj and I have been married that we have had the summer off together. That is pretty crazy when you think we have been married for 10 years now. When we first got married I worked at a bank. And I was always working Saturdays. And then after Rylee was born and I quit working Aj was part of a men's group at our church that met Saturday mornings. And then after he finished his men's group he worked at the same bank for a bit and low and behold he worked Saturdays. So now that he has a Monday through Friday job, no men's group, and no bank job for either of us we are officially weekend free. YAY!!! We both agreed that we should do a few mini weekend camping trips. And this was our first one.

We went with some friends from our small group. But we also know them from high school too. But lost connection over the years. And reconnected at our small group. They are wonderful people with 3 adorable kids!! They have 2 girls and Rylee is right in between the girls age. And then 1 little baby boy. He was only a few months old when we went camping together and he was a rock star!! He did amazing!!!

Rylee had lots of fun camping with the girls. They played and explored. They made smores together. They all got a long so well!! We had a great time once all the kids went to bed with just staying up late around the fire and talking. We all could have talked all night but knew the kids would be up Early. So we did not stay up super late. It was a great first camping trip for sure!! And we would love to go with them again some day!!
