Summer Camping Adventures part 4

This is my last post about our summer camping adventures. This was fun to write a 4 part series. Nothing big. Nothing to exciting. Just the fun part about our lives.

This trip was with one of my really great friends! She is so amazing!! I truly feel lucky to be such great friends with her. She blesses me in so many ways. She is caring, creative, and just wonderful to be around. I love her kids. I love how well our kids play together. I feel loaded with blessings when ever I am around her. So needless to say I knew this was going to be an epic camping weekend.

We did all the same things on each trip. Ate food, played in the water, sat by the fire. But it is amazing how each trip was so different. All good. I can't way one was better than the other,
they were each special.

This trip I will say was filled with amazing food. I LOVE food!! I love to snack on sweet treats. I also love to snack on cheesy gooey foods too. I am not biased.... I LOVE it all!! And maria my friend brought so much wonderful food. I was pretty excited when I saw the 10 bags of food (just for 2 days hehehe) We ate like kinds and queens for sure. I don't have as many photos of this trip as I thought I did. So sad. so I can't show you all the amazing food I am talking about. But I can at least tell you.
She made chicken kabobs for lunch. They were delish and had been marinating in something creamy and rich for the whole day. And then for dinner they brought BBQ lamb. WOW I was in shock...it was sooooo good. I am drooling now just thinking of it. And then the next morning for breakfast we had what I would call an EPIC breakfast sandwich. She roasted the bagels over the fire. And then she made a fried egg, with smoked salmon, tomato, cream cheese, American cheese, avocado, and hollandaise sauce. YES all of this on one bagel. Once again I am drooling. Everything was wonderful and we had such a good time!! I can't wait until next year when we go camping with them again. We are talking about trying it for a whole week. We decided that 2 days was not enough and that we wanted more. So here is hoping next summer will come fast.

Here are a few photos from this trip.
And thanks for taking the time to read about The Gale Family's summer camping adventures.
